Black Sovereign Media | Music
BSM Music showcases a collection of audio tracks I either created or collaborated on during a time where I was active as an amateur, independent, singer – songwriter – producer under the label, Black Reign Entertainment.
For a short time, I dabbled in the amateur music scene initially as a school project for a Music Appreciation elective. Thanks to a site called MP3.com (prior to the 2003), some of my more complete works found a following, much to my surprise. Then, MP3.com was bought out by Vivendi Universal and the site was shut down for awhile to amateur artists. Equivolent sites failed to meet the same quality as MP3.com so I went back to just working on tracks as a hobby and selling my own content. 2006 brought the release of End Game which was to be my last public album.
Being a multi-genre amateur artist (I hate labels), most of the tracks were pop/r&b, dance/electronica and alternative in nature. Although I treat the projects I produced or collaborated on as “hobbies”, I have decided to release a few of those tracks online by creating my first artist page on YouTube. Moving to Mzeus
In 2005, I found a new home with Mzeus.com which revived my interest in music production. However, I have no immediate plans to release any new material besides a previously unreleased demo track called “Blue Mondays” (currently available for sale on my Selz store), which I have included with the “Just Let It Rain” EP. I am by no means a professional artist. It was just a way to express myself and dabble in the idea of becoming something more.
Over the course of nearly a decade, I created over a hundred tracks that have started out as demos or filler material (unfinished) that I created on the fly. I may release some of them in the future.
All tracks available were produced between 1998 – 2004 under the artist name Atlantis Jordan (earlier works were under Black Reign).
